Also not meh. I actually like the shading work here. The face proportions are slightly skewed and I see the whole hide the other eye thing. I’m guilty of that one! My left eye never looks as good as my right. Stupid eyes, being so difficult! The composition of this piece is beautiful in my opinion. Some tension in the tangents, where the Petels almost meet the edge. But that’s okay. Overall, pretty awesome.
